MATT HILL is an award-winning writer, editor, copywriter and production journalist based in London.

He is currently Editor of technology brand T3′s magazine and digital editions, the PPA’s International Magazine of the Year and Digital Product of the Year in 2012 and the UK’s best-selling digital monthly. He also writes a technology column for Brik.

He was previously Deputy Editor at Britain’s biggest men’s magazine ShortList, Production Editor/Culture Editor at men’s style monthly ARENA, Associate Editor at cross-format cinema quarterly Picturehouse Recommends, plus Contributing Editor at Virgin’s international lifestyle iPad magazine PROJECT, entertainment lifestyle iPad app INDUSTRIA and Soho House members quarterly House.

He has also written and edited for a variety of other publications including Wired, FHM, The GuardianThe Sunday TimesLittle White Lies, Total Film, Stylist, The Architects’ Journal, Music Week, Kerrang!Hip-Hop Connection, SFX, Tech. and The Times Education Supplement.

He won the Games Media Award for Best Coverage in a Mainstream Magazine in 2012 and 2009, and was shortlisted in 2011. He has also been a media commentator for Sky News, TalkSport and The Gadget Show Live, a judge of Epic Games’ Make Something Unreal video-game design competition, a consultant on TSL Education’s TES Pro online teaching tool, and edited two books.

Typically covering men’s lifestyle including gaming, film, music, technology and design, he is available for freelance writing, copywriting and editing commissions, consultancy, media commentary opportunities and long-lead production projects.
